Tomato with aïoli

In a couple previous recipes, I had included this little side dish but I think it deserves a little more attention because it’s just really good! Three ingredients, no cooking needed, done in 5 minutes and you have a delicious little dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe tomatoes, preferably cœur de bœuf if you can get your hands on some
  • About 4 tablespoons aïoli
  • 2 tablespoons sumac

Directions

  1. Slice the tomatoes 5-10 mm thick.
  2. Spread a layer of aïoli on the slices.
  3. Sprinkle the sumac evenly on top.
